Health and Education for All (HAEFA) is an international leader in providing healthcare to the underserved and most vulnerable populations in Bangladesh, including coastal and hard-to-reach regions, FDMN Camps, urban, semi-urban, and rural areas.

Key Responsibilities:

      Financial Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and manage day-to-day accounts in compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and update books of accounts (vouchers, cash book, bank book, ledger, journal, etc.).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly financial statements and donor-specific financial reports.
  • Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of bank and cash transactions.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditure tracking.
  • Monitor budgetary controls and report any variances or financial risks.
  • Manage petty cash and ensure proper cash flow planning.
  • Ensure timely disbursement of funds and salary payments.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.

     Audit, Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate documentation and support all internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, donor guidelines, and statutory regulations (e.g., VAT, Tax).
  • Coordinate with external auditors, support audit queries, and facilitate the annual audit process.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required regulatory returns (e.g., NBR, NGOAB, etc.).

      Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Manage invoices, payments, receivables, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate vendor payment processing and timely settlements.
  • Monitor grants and donor fund utilization and ensure compliance.

      Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide logistic and administrative support in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure proper supplies of materials, manage office inventory, equipment, and vehicles.
  • Maintain vendor records, manage contract preparation and renewal.
  • Assist in processing staff entitlements and benefits (e.g., travel claims, leave, allowances).
  • Coordinate with HR for payroll processing and related documentation.

      Field-Level Finance Monitoring

  • Coordinate with field teams and ensure proper financial documentation from field operations.
  • Conduct and supervise field visits to monitor fund utilization and verify cash distributions.
  • Manage and report on Cash Transfer Programs (CTP) in compliance with project guidelines.

Qualifications:
      Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputed university.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA (partly/fully qualified), CMA, or ACCA will be given preference.

      Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in finance and accounts, preferably in an NGO or development organization.

     Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Comfortable with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
  • Basic IT and ERP system familiarity is an advantage.

Workplace: HAEFA Country Office, Dhaka
Compensation and Benefits: Salary and benefits will be based on organizational policy and candidate qualifications.

Job Description:

HAEFA (Health and Education for All) is urgently seeking a qualified and BMDC-registered Medical Officer to join our dedicated team as a National Health Coordinator. This is a full-time, contractual position that offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to healthcare initiatives serving vulnerable communities across Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take leadership in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of health programs.
  • Provide clinical services and support overall healthcare operations.
  • Coordinate with field teams and stakeholders to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation in line with organizational standards.

Requirement:

  • MBBS degree with valid BMDC registration (BMDC number must be mentioned in the application).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project site offices in various districts across Bangladesh.
